FIRST and Best trip to Cuba for divers and non-divers
Only 90 miles from the southern tip of the U.S.A, and banned to American tourists for almost 50 years, Cuba should soon open up and we hope that you will use our unique expertise and services. Until then, we can only ask you to provide your contact information and we'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have. We consider this trip to be the ideal one week initial dive and land package to Cuba for divers and non-divers. The word initial is underlined because it would take many trips to see the largest Caribbean island above and underwater. Following are some mind boggling geographical facts about Cuba.
1) Cuba is over 750 miles long, covering 44,800 square miles. This does not include the cays surrounding the island. Cuba comprises over half the total land area of the West Indies. Just look at a map of the Caribbean to appreciate this fact.
2) Cuba has 1,062 miles of coast line in the north coast, and 1,125 miles in the south coast.
3) Cuba has 1,300 cays surrounding the island. (570 in the north coast, and 730 in the south coast)
Based on the above facts, there's no doubt that it would take several trips to see it all. Therefore our initial one week trip will combine the essential “must see and do” in Cuba on your first trip. It will have the right balance of underwater and land activities based on my own personal experience as a Cuban-American Divemaster who's “been there and done that” several times. This one week trip will appeal to people who love to dive and also enjoy to immerse into the culture, history, architecture, music and fantastic people of this fascinating island that's been frozen in time since 1960. During the day, you will experience excellent diving and enjoy the only 12 mile long white powder beach in the Caribbean, Varadero Beach. In the evening, you will absorb the Cuban culture, food, drinks, music and people outside the hotel grounds, and then retire to the comfort of one of the finest 5 star beach resort hotels in Cuba. You will be safe, happy, comfortable and have the resources of our bilingual associates with all the local savvy. Our objective is to make sure that your trip goes smooth and enjoyable from your arrival until your departure. We will keep you away from the infamous Murphy from Murphy's Law. (He's part Cuban).
